EUREC hold the Masters Welcome Day on 8th October in Brussels. We counted with 63 participants and speakers.
The one-day session included an introduction from EUREC, a ‘coffee corner’ with specialisation professors, an alumnus sharing his experience of the programme with the new batch and ice-breaking activities. EUREC did a presentation to give students some perspectives on the project semester and on their future careers.
We had the pleasure of counting with Geert Palmers, co-founder, and director of 3E, who guided us around the new BNP Paribas-Fortis net-zero energy building, another part of the group enjoyed a game while visiting Brussels city centre. The day ended up with a cocktail reception. EUREC wishes a very nice Academic Year to all EUREC students and professors!
On Saturday 9th October, 46 participants joined the 12th Alumni Forum. We heard 15 alumni presentations from all over the globe on varied renewable energy topics: wind farms development, PV projects, circular economy, energy communities, construction of biomass plants and many more. Bravo and thanks to the Alumni for the engagement and inspiring presentations!
